“Vast empty space and innumerable splendour qualities”
When we encounter masterpieces of ink painting, Haiku poetry, Noh theatre, or Butoh, what moves us is not only the objects, words, or dancers, but the presence of vast empty space. This empty space is vibrant, alive, and filled with innumerable qualities that continuously emerge and vanish. This is not only a characteristic of local Japanese culture, but rather a way of revealing a more universal reality of existence through art.

Our everyday life passes, eating, working, or dancing, within a limited cage, burying enormously rich nature within each of us. Education, traditions, or even learned movement techniques could mould kind of cages. Yet when we observe a forest under the open sky, the diversity of forms, textures, and movements - plants, flowers, trees, stones, or wind - reveals an overwhelming richness.

The workshop is an invitation to explore and encounter the sky and the forest within the body-mind, discovering unlimited movements and textures within us, and transforming the personal journey into a universal poem.
